Poem 008
She whispered silence to the night,
A girl unseen, stripped of her light.
Her mind a maze of shattered glass,
Each dream dissolved, too frail to last.
But shadows stirred with solemn grace,
And gently held her fractured face.
They taught her how to stand, not beg,
To pull the strings, not dance on legs.
From ruin rose a quiet queen,
With fire in places pain had been.
She weaves her fate with steady hand
No longer told, now she commands.
