Poem 016
Beneath the moon, our fragile colors rise,
While silver silence gathers in the skies,
The world is dark, yet something soft takes flight,
A hidden garden opening to night.
We carry warmth the daylight cannot see,
A quiet flame beneath the frozen tree,
And though the dawn may wash our traces white,
We bloom because we belong to the night.
